Tina’s first experience in Banking was in 1992 working for the Customer Service Call Center at Citibank. However, her career in the industry would not truly begin until 2000, with SunTrust Bank’s Commercial Credit Training Program. This became the foundation for her career going forward, allowing her to grow into various areas of Banking to include underwriting and analysis, relationship management, commercial lending, portfolio management, retail banking and management, consumer lending, and private client.
In December 2021, she proudly took on a new opportunity, with a group of 5 of her teammates, to be the founding “team” of the Amerant Bank Professional & Private Client Group. As a Private Client Relationship Manager, she takes pride in providing white-glove service to her clients. By working in tandem with Amerant Bank’s Trust & Investment Division, she assists in navigating her clients through the Banking process, while working to protect and maximize their assets.
Tina grew up in the Miami-Dade County graduating from Miami Sunset Sr. High School in 1991. Later that year, she attended Miami-Dade Community College (Miami-Dade Collage) graduating with her Associates Degree in Business, and Florida International University graduating in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
She has volunteered for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement. She has also been a proud member of the Miami-Dade Women’s Chamber of Commerce and is honored to be a past Board Member.
Tina lives in Cutler Bay, Florida. She loves going out on the boat, traveling, entertaining at home, and most of all, spending time with her husband and daughter.

Ms. Esquire has been a great group, and special due to being mostly ladies, which brings a different vibe. Some of the activities we do during our monthly meetings bring the members closer to one another which is great.
