Nerina Smart is the founding partner of The Law Offices of Nerina Smart, P.A., serving South Florida since 2009. Born in Trinidad and proudly rooted in the diverse South Florida community, she is passionate about giving back to the community she now calls home.

A seasoned civil litigator, Nerina honed her skills interning under one of South Florida’ top personal injury attorneys while in law school. She later represented major lenders in insurance subrogation, collections, and real estate before founding her own firm in
2009.

Nerina’s personal injury practice in Broward County spans a wide range of injury cases, including auto and truck accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and product liability. Known for her personalized handson approach and compassion for her clients, she is a fierce advocate—handling everything from medical treatment coordination to securing fair settlements or pursuing courtroom justice when needed.
