Ms. Esquire has been a great group, and special due to being mostly ladies, which brings a different vibe. Some of the activities we do during our monthly meetings bring the members closer to one another which is great. Also, all members are phenomenal and intelligent business owners, people you want to relate to and be around.
Appeals/Litigations Support
Marisol Cruz
Appellate Attorney with a Passion for Precision and Persuasion
Marisol has deep litigation experience in both civil and family court, but her real talent is in legal writing. Recognizing this, she’s transitioned her practice to focus on appellate work and litigation support, where her writing and analytical skills truly shine. She’s a lawyer who loves working behind the scenes to help other lawyers excel—whether it’s drafting motions, appellate briefs, or helping shape big-picture litigation strategy. Marisol received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center where she graduated in the top ten of her class. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where she double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Before pursuing a law degree, she earned a Master’s degree in Italian Studies from Prescott College. Prior to becoming a lawyer and during her time in law school, Ms. Cruz worked as a paralegal and law clerk to criminal defense and civil litigation attorneys in all aspects of case and trial preparation. Ms. Cruz is fluent in spoken and written Spanish and Italian. Marisol is also a published author of two romance novels and she’s currently working on two new stories, expected to be published within the next year.
