With Helen Mileto Law, I strive to support solo and small business owners—helping them achieve their goals while minimizing legal risk and, ideally, avoiding litigation altogether. My employment law services include reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating employment agreements, vendor agreements, insurance policies, NDAs, and partnership agreements. I also serve as fractional general counsel, offering flat-fee, ongoing employment and compliance guidance tailored to each client’s operations, from handbook updates to advising leadership on documenting employee matters.
For individuals, my practice focuses on reviewing and negotiating severance agreements and employment offers. I’ve secured significantly improved terms for clients and provide strategic counseling on positioning, communication, and negotiation with current or prospective employers. When needed, I personally negotiate severance outcomes designed to resolve disputes without litigation.
