Appeals and Trial Support

Arianna M. Mendez

Raised in Miami by working class immigrant parents from Cuba, Arianna’s parents instilled in her a profound respect for the rule of law. Her parents may not have had much in material possessions, but they taught Arianna to strive for more, to treat others with honesty and respect, and to confront challenges head-on without fear of failure. Over the years, these lessons guided Arianna through college, graduate school, law school, and now the practice of law. These lessons eventually morphed into the founding principles of her firm: Excellence, Integrity, and Perseverance. Before starting her firm, Arianna worked at the State Attorney’s Office in Palm Beach County and at Cooke Carbonell LLP , a civil litigation firm in Cutler Bay, Florida where she assisted the senior partner in opening the firm’s appellate division. Arianna is also admitted to practice in the United States Southern District of Florida. In 2021, Arianna opened her own law practice in Hialeah, Florida offering business transactional services.

Arianna graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelors in Political Science and International Relations, Masters in Political Science from Florida International University, and St. Thomas University School of Law with a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Criminal Litigation. In law school, Arianna received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, was on the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters for academic distinction and served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Complex Litigation.

Arianna has also intern for Circuit Court Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez, worked both at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office in the Domestic Violence Division and the Misdemeanor Division at the State Attorney’s Office-Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. At the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, Arianna was awarded the Skill and Mastery Award for her performance in the Domestic Violence Division. Before law school, Arianna worked as a political speech writer and strategist. She has appeared on English and Hispanic national and local media as a pundit. Her opinions have been featured in the Miami Herald, NewsMax, WLRN, The Mike Essen Show, MegaTV, and AmericaTV. Arianna has been married for over eight (8) years to her husband, Chris. In her free time, Arianna enjoys traveling, considers herself an afternoon tea connoisseur, and podcasting.
