Ms. Northrop specializes in Commercial Insurance risk management and mitigation, providing superior service for a multitude of organizations. Primarily, Andrea partners with business owners, corporations, and boards to protect their businesses, assets, and lives by transferring, mitigating, and/or eliminating risk. This includes Malpractice and Professional Liability, Commercial Auto, Captive Placement, General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation and Umbrella Liability.
Andrea is a contributing editor in the revision and rewriting the Florida Bar’s Condominium and Community Association upcoming edition of the “Green Book” and has been a continuing education provide to the Florida Bar for several years, including the esteemed Ralph E. Boyer Institute on Condominium and Cluster Development.
Upon graduation from the University of Florida with a degree in Political Science, Cum Laude, Andrea obtained her Juris Doctor degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2004. In addition to her General Agent 2-20 license, Andrea is a member of the Florida Bar since 2004, the Missouri Bar since 2005 and the United States District Court for Southern Florida since 2005.
Andrea’s career has allowed her to contribute to the community with her current participation in Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and as past co-chair of the Insurance and Surety committee for the Florida Bar with the Florida Bar.
