Aimee Melich is a dedicated bankruptcy attorney with over 13 years of experience, having handled more than 8,000 cases. As the founding attorney of Aimee Melich Law, PA, she focuses on helping clients regain control of their finances with compassion, strategic solutions, and clear guidance through the bankruptcy process.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Miami, Aimee is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to serve a diverse client base with ease. She earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, graduating magna cum laude from Florida International University, and went on to receive her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she graduated in the top 30% of her class. While in law school, Aimee was president of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers chapter, a Dean’s List honoree, and participated in a summer study abroad program in San Lorenzo, Spain.
Before founding her own firm, Aimee worked at the largest consumer bankruptcy law firm in Florida. She was also a legal correspondent on AméricaTeve, helping viewers understand bankruptcy and real estate issues live on television. Her expertise spans to bankruptcy, debt relief, real estate, business solutions, and asset protection.
Aimee is passionate about helping people achieve a true fresh start and dismantling the stigma surrounding bankruptcy. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
