Former Prosecutor and now Managing Partner of the Law Offices of Joshua S. Danz, P.A., Joshua is a criminal defense attorney devoted to representing people who are charged with any type of criminal charge throughout the State of Florida. Over the years, Joshua has earned himself a reputation for being a hard-working, persuasive, and innovative trial attorney in both State and Federal Courts. Throughout his career, he has handled thousands of cases and has taken over a hundred of them to trial, with great success. Joshua spent six years as a Prosecutor, with a significant focus on prosecuting sex crimes and other serious crimes, before opening up his own law practice in 2018. With extensive experience on both sides, it allows him to present his clients with the most well-rounded and thorough defense possible. Joshua has dedicated his career to aggressively defending the rights of his clients and being a zealous advocate for anyone he represents. Equally important, Joshua prides himself on being extremely compassionate, honest, and communicative in order to best help his clients and protect their rights.
Joshua has served as the Chair of the Broward County Bar Association (BCBA) Criminal Law Section for over 5 years and has received numerous awards since opening up his Firm. Among those awards and distinctions, Joshua has been AV PREEMINENT RATED by Martindale-Hubble every year since 2018. This distinction is awarded to attorneys who exhibit the “highest level of professional excellence for legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.” Since 2018, Joshua has also received the “Client’s Choice Award,” an annual recognition given to attorneys who consistently receive highest-quality client feedback. Joshua was also named a “Rising Star” in the legal community in 2021. Outside of work, Joshua loves spending time with his family and coaching his children in various sports.
