Amelia M. Ravelo, Esq. is a seasoned criminal defense attorney and former Miami-Dade prosecutor with extensive trial experience. She began her legal career at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted hundreds of cases from arraignment through trial, gaining invaluable insight into how the justice system operates from the inside out.
Now the founder of Ravelo Law Firm, Amelia focuses her practice on defending individuals facing criminal charges with strategic, aggressive, and compassionate advocacy. A proud Miami native, Amelia earned a full merit scholarship to Florida International University’s Honors College, where she majored in Finance with a pre-law focus. She then attended the University of Miami School of Law on a merit-based scholarship and quickly distinguished herself in trial advocacy and was a member of the school’s Trial Team.
