Zarina Hernandez
Zarina Hernandez is an experienced trial attorney who founded Z. Hernandez Law, PLLC. with a mission to deliver unparalleled service by offering personalized, high-quality care and dedicating the time and attention necessary to meet each client’s unique needs. Her firm provides consumer bankruptcy legal services for people who have become overwhelmed by their debts and criminal defense services for people who have become caught in the criminal justice system. Currently, Zarina serves on the board of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida as membership co-chair. She is also a member of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Seminole County Association of Women Lawyers, and the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association.
Prior to founding the law firm, Zarina was an assistant public defender in Marion and Osceola Counties, where she handled thousands of cases. She graduated cum laude from Barry O. Andreas School of Law where she earned a high honors certificate in trial advocacy, represented juvenile clients in the Children and Families Legal Clinic, served on the board of the school’s law review, and served on the board of the Hispanic Association of Law Students.
Prior to her legal career Zarina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and had a seven-year long career working in social services by serving the developmentally delayed community in Seminole County, Florida.
