Sasha Westerman-Keuning
Founding Partner Sasha Westerman-Keuning is knowledgeable in all types of immigration case matters from work visas to family-based applications and specializes in marriage and fiance-based green cards. In 2017, she became one of only approximately 80 Board Certified Immigration Lawyers in the State of Florida. Board Certification is a rigorous testing process that ensures that an attorney’s competence in an area is that of expert level and that the attorney practices law in an ethical fashion. Sasha is also a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2018-2022), a prestigious designation which less than 2.5% of all Florida lawyers achieve. Sasha has a reputation as a national expert in LGBTQ immigration law and has been a powerful advocate for LGBT, immigrant and women’s rights for more than a decade. She is the current Chair of the LGBTQ Affairs Committee for the local chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and continues to serve on several AILA committees, including the pro bono committee. She is known across the United States as an authoritative figure on LGBTQ immigration cases and has obtained hundreds of green cards on behalf of foreign nationals in same-sex marriages, including many with accompanying waiver applications, as well as dozens of K-1 fiancé(e) visas for foreign nationals in same-sex relationships.
She provides knowledgeable, professional and personal service and represents both individual and corporate clients in all types of immigration matters from employment-based visa applications to deportation proceedings.
