Ms. Esquire has been a great group, and special due to being mostly ladies, which brings a different vibe. Some of the activities we do during our monthly meetings bring the members closer to one another which is great. Raizel Hernandez-Ferderer
Raizel Hernandez-Ferderer is an experienced litigator focusing her practice in Business Law & Business Litigation. Raizel handles a variety of cases, including but not limited to business and legal matters, ranging from start-up to continued counseling in the regular course of business and corporate growth. Raizel assists clients with the formation and structure of their business entities, including partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies. Raizel also negotiates and drafts employment agreements, non-compete agreements, non-disclosure agreements, purchase agreements, business-sale agreements, vendor agreements, management contracts, commercial leases and the assumption of commercial leases, including guaranty clauses, general business contracts and handles a wide variety of business and contract litigation. Raizel also has experience with non-profit businesses, the formalities of creating one and its required filings. She can also work with a business to raise business capital and the generate the documentation required for this.
Raizel was born and raised in Miami-Dade County, Florida and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Raizel received her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2012 and her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Business Law from the University of Miami in 2008.
Raizel began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County. During her time as a prosecutor, Raizel gained invaluable trial experience, which has proven instrumental in her private practice including her extensive knowledge and success in the trial process.
While court intervention is necessary at times, Raizel encourages her clients to decide what is right for their business or issue through mediation and other dispute resolution avenues. To her clients, Raizel serves as an advocate, as well as, a voice of reason. She believes in full disclosure and in candidly advising her clients of their legal strengths and weakness, so that her clients could make a well-informed decision regarding the direction of their case.
