Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Hofstra University, in Hempstead, New York. She played division one college tennis for Hofstra and currently holds the school record for all-time leader in singles match victories.
Lauren graduated from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2014, and soon after began her career advocating for the rights of the defenseless as an Attorney at the Guardian Ad Litem Office in West Palm Beach. She manages Legal Aid’s Campaign for Equal Justice encouraging attorneys to take pro bono cases while providing support for attorneys during their pro bono case. When taking a pro bono case is not feasible, a financial contribution to the Campaign is also an option. Lauren’s mission is to have every attorney in Palm Beach County participate in the Campaign in some capacity to provide equal access to justice for the members of our community who do not have the financial resources to hire an attorney.
Lauren continues to be a fierce advocate for children experiencing foster care. She serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Foster Children where she is a part of the Legacy Scholarship Committee. This committee provides scholarships and financial assistance to children who have previously experienced foster care and are pursuing higher education.
In her free time, Lauren is an avid traveler, a permanently disappointed Atlanta sports fan, and loves being outdoors.
