Public Insurance Adjuster

Karen R. Schiffmiller

Karen moved from New York to Florida in 1994. She has over 36 years of combined legal and public adjusting experience. This work background and the knowledge she gained during that time gave her the ability to understand insurance policies and the rights of policyholders. Karen’s strength and perseverance allows her to represent her clients well by recovering everything they are entitled to for their claim.

Karen’s experience includes adjusting insurance claim losses for residential and commercial property owners caused by fire, water damage, hurricane, flood and sinkhole claims and is also a Certified Property Insurance Appraiser & Umpire (CPAU) for insurance claim disputes.

Karen is a proud member and currently serves as a Past President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and Chairs several committees. She has a passion for helping others and is the President of the FAPIA Foundation where she volunteers, donates and works to raise money for those in need in our local communities. She also enjoys working out and quality time with family and friends.
