Glenn Marks, an Associate at Chepenik Trushin LLP, focuses her law practice in the areas of planning, administrations and litigation, with all angles of estates, trusts, probate, guardianship and elder law (Medicaid planning). Her firm also handles lack of testamentary capacity – undue influence matters and restoration of rights.
Ms. Marks, who graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2017 (B.S., Marketing), is a South Florida native. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Ms. Marks was president of the Federal Bar Association and, during her tenure, planned numerous events consisting of panels with federal judges and prominent lawyers in the community. Ms. Marks was also the managing Dean’s Fellow for the writing center, where she supervised other Dean’s Fellows and helped students improve their legal research and writing techniques. Ms. Marks was also a Legal Intern for the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic, where she represented foster children on issues related to employment, education, housing, and criminal justice. She was awarded the Burton Young Scholarship for excelling in the Clinic. Ms. Marks was also a member of the Race and Social Justice Law Review. Ms. Marks began working at Chepenik Trushin LLP as a law clerk and transitioned to an Associate attorney upon admission to the Florida Bar on November 23, 2020.
For networking purposes, Ms. Marks would like to meet and collaboratively partner with family law, business – corporate law, personal injury law (wrongful death and med mal only), commercial litigators, and any estate planning attorney who does not go to court.
