Erik Chafin

Erik Chafin is the Chief Development Officer at Children’s Harbor, As Chief Development Officer, Erik’s primary role is to manage a philanthropic, educational approach to ensure the overall growth and long-term stability for Children’s Harbor, Inc. He also works to ensure the strategic direction and development of the agency through community collaboration and corporate partnerships.

Prior to joining Children’s Harbor at his current capacity, Erik served on the board of directors where he helped cultivate community connections, awareness, and philanthropic relationships. In Erik’s tenure he has been influential in the south Florida technology space for over 20 years and the IT managed services space for over half a decade.

Erik has been a featured speaker and instructor on best practices in LinkedIn lead development, sales strategies. Over the past several years, Erik has been invited to present at chambers of commerce, national associations & corporate clients. Erik also is in an elite group – a native Floridian, 3rd generation. While growing up in Florida, Erik received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Barry University. Erik has also obtained certifications in the areas of Business Development & Technology along with being Sandler Sales Certified.

Erik lives in Davie with his lovely wife Diane and their three children. He also enjoys volunteering his time coaching youth sports at the local optimist.
