Beatriz N. Arroyave
Beatriz N. Arroyave is an experienced litigator focusing her practice on family and matrimonial law. Beatriz handles a variety of cases, including but not limited to contested and uncontested dissolution of marriage, child support, timesharing, paternity, domestic violence, post judgment modification matters, contempt and enforcement actions, relocation, equitable distribution, and alimony.
Beatriz was born and raised in Miami-Dade County, Florida and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Beatriz received her Juris Doctorate from The Florida State University College of Law in 2007 and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University in 2004.
Beatriz began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County. During her time as a prosecutor, Beatriz gained invaluable trial experience, which has proven instrumental in her family law practice.
While court intervention is necessary at times, Beatriz encourages her clients to decide what is right for their families through mediation and other dispute resolution avenues. To her clients, Beatriz serves as an advocate, as well as, a voice of reason. She believes in full disclosure and in candidly advising her clients of their legal strengths and weakness, so that her clients could make a well-informed decision regarding the direction of their case.
